Wasn’t real excited with the 225/75 small look or the 2013 date code on the fronts. This isn’t going to see high mileage or request use so I was looking for a deal on an aggressive looking tire. I spring for 31’s as they fit without a lift. Found a deal on some Dick Cepek Trail Country EXP tires. Less than $500 shipped and $60 mounted. I was looking at $700+ for KO2’s. Figured I’d give these a try. I haven’t driven on them except home so no good evaluation yet but I’m not worried about noise like most complaints. The discount soft top is LOUD at highway speed. Plus I put a bangin system in that I pieced together from stuff I had. They look pretty good not as good as KO2’s or the likes, being so symmetrical looks a bit strange but better than the original

Yeah soft tops have to be heavy to be quiet, on the old military vehicles the hard tops are louder like being in an echo chamber. I prefer the heavy canvas tops, I think I’m going to get rid of my hard top.
